Getting There: Turn right at the Hanmer Springs Junction and cross the ferry bridge over the Waiau River. Turn right into Medway Road before the Hanmer River Bridge, (signposted to Braemar Lodge & Charwell Lodge). 400m past the campground turn into the steep drive on the right. Keep left on the drive at the fork, and Charwell Lodge is the first turn off on the right.
