Relax in this comfortable home after a long day exploring the unspoiled beauty of the Catlins - its beaches, waterfalls, wildlife and admired nature walks. Located in the 'Heart of Catlins' on the edge of the Owaka township, it is within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops.
This 25 acre farm has lots of animals including 150 sheep and a very friendly sheep dog who is happy to show off his skills. Guests are welcome to join in the routines and tasks that keep the farm running. The large, colourful garden with over 130 roses is a wonderful place to take a stroll, or can be enjoyed from inside the house.
The stunning Purakaunui Falls and the Mclean Falls are close by and the famous Catlins River Walk is easily accessible. A 10-minute drive will take you to Surat Bay where you can witness native sea lions sunbaking on the beach.
