The Chartlea Park Farmstay dates back to 1896, and in recent years, has had much time and effort spent on restoring it to the grandeur of old.

Numerous antique pieces of furniture and ornaments are also a feature of the home. Guests are invited to share the home and its treasures.

At Chartlea Park you are given the chance to have a real New Zealand farm experience.

Special Features
The properties garden has been gradually developed since 1995, to the extensive plantings and 'rooms' that are in place now. A love of all varieties of plants shows through, with extensive tree plantings forming the basis of the site, interspersed with roses, rhododendrons, peonies and perennials.
