Queen Street Backpackers is located on the corner of Auckland's main street, right at the heart of New Zealand's biggest city. The hostel is in an old hotel built around the turn of the century so it has plenty of charm and character.

As a purpose built hotel, the Central Auckland Backpackers has large windows and hand basins in most rooms and comfortable commmon areas. There is a guest lounge with pay TV and snooker/pool tables and a full laundry with drying room.Start your evening at the Longboard Bar onsite, or head into the city and discover Auckland's active nightlife.

The staff at Queen Street Backpackers are amazing, once you are staying you feel like you are at home, not like these new backpackers that you feel you could be in a hotel and meet no one.
