Sunnyside Bed and Breakfast provides comfortable double en-suite accommodation in Kakanui, a pretty coastal village 10 kilometres south of Oamaru. Enjoy a continental breakfast with freshly baked bread, home made preserves and local produce.

Kakanui is on the Fossil Trail, is situated on a river estuary and has two beaches. The Little Blue Penguin and Yellow Eyed Penguins colonies are just ten minutes away, as is historic Oamaru with its beautiful limestone architecture, museums, galleries and restaurants.

We are retired from forestry and urban tree management, and are now enjoying new interests in this wonderful part of Godzone, with our cats, Stanley and Thomas and dog Bunty. You are assured of a warm welcome.
