YHA Lake Tekapo

Overlooking Lake Tekapo, relax in the large cosy lounge with a log fire in winter, the ultimate place for watching the incredible shades of blue of this glacier fed lake.

Explore the many walks in the area and scenic flights around Mt Cook and the glaciers. Catch some rainbow trout or have a go at ice-skating, cross-country & downhill skiing. The Church of the Good Shepherd is a short walk from the hostel and Stargazing tours of the Southern Hemisphere at night leave directly from the hostel.
