Martins Bay Holiday Park is a large caravan and camping ground accessed via Snells Beach, in New Zealand's Northland. The spacious park has a scattering of mature pohutakawa trees throughout providing shade, and has direct beach access.
The camping ground occupies the majority of Martins Bay, with panoramic views of the beach and Mahurangi Peninsula. A boat ramp, fish preparation area and boat cleaning bays cater for the anglers and boaties at the park which is close to the fishing grounds of Kawau Island. There is also a large carpark for boats, trailer and vehicles within the grounds. Popular activities while staying at Martins Bay make the most of the area's natural beauty and include sailing, fishing, swimming and bushwalking.
Accommodation at Martins Bay Holiday Park includes powered tent, caravan and motorhome sites, along with cabins of different layouts. There are cabins with shared amenities or cabins with toilet and handbasin. Other site amenities include; picnic areas with barbecues, immaculate shower blocks, plus two toilet blocks.
