Awapiriti Lodge is a little slice of paradise beside the Maruia River in the scenic Murchison District, Nelson. Awapiriti is a beef and deer farm surrounded by native forest, a haven for adults with children over fifteen welcome. There is a lovely bush walk and an abundance of birdlife.
Relax in the convivial atmosphere of this delightful country home over pre-dinner drinks followed by locally produced food and New Zealand wines. 24 hours notice would be appreciated, but is not always necessary, if an evening meal is required.
Awapiriti Lodge is well placed for easy access from Christchurch, West Coast, Picton and Nelson.
The Lodge is situated beside the Maruia River, one of the best trout fishing rivers in New Zealand. Guides can be arranged. The Murchison Golf Club is only 15mins away and one of the most beautiful in New Zealand
