On Top Backpackers is new, clean, warm and homely, purpose built, right in the centre - opposite the town hall and offers great views.

Accommodation features include, outdoor seating, 24 hour access, café and bar, internet, pool table and baggage storage. All this plus we are only a short walk to the shops, supermarket and nightlife!

On Top Backpackers staff are helpful and hospitable and have lots of information on all southern activities.

Yeah I was a bit shocked here actually. I booked one night in a private room. First I was sent to a dirty room- no worries they sorted another one. Then I was kept awake by loud music from the bathroom- no worries they kindly turned it off ... Read More
