Anselm House was originally built circa 1950 and features two double rooms. The Rococo suite has a large Italian double Rococo bed, characterised by deeply carved patterns in mahogany and ensuite. Ideal for couples on their honeymoon. Or wake to the sights and sounds of the Avon River, which guests can admire from the large bay window in the River Room.

Getting There: On 24 Hyde Park bus route: From State Highway 1, at the roundabout by the airport, turn up Memorial Avenue, go through 6 sets of lights on Memorial Avenue (Fendalton Road); turn right onto Straven Road. At next set of lights turn right onto Kahu Road; Continue approximately 300 metres, past the big blue sign saying Riccarton House & Park until you reach the brown brick bridge; Anselm House is the first house on the left over the bridge. Pull up in front of the blue/grey gates;
