Waipu Cove Cottages & Camping

Two hours north of Auckland and half-way to the Bay of Islands, Waipu Cove Cottages and Camping is a small quiet holiday park developed on an established, two-hectare coastal lifestyle block with surf beach access.

Waipu Cove Cottages and Camping groud has 12 sheltered camp-sites, all large and level. Each has a light, clothes line, tap, waste water point and rubbish tin, even a concrete path. For non-campers, there are three self contained two-bedroom cottages, a one-bedroom self contained unit and four backpacker rooms.

The games room has TV, table tennis and pool table. Four complimentary dinghies give water access via a tidal estuary to the bird refuge, and just over the sand dunes is a safe swimming surf beach. The amenities block has a laundry with dryer, plus clean ablutions block opening off a roofed deck. The kitchen has a full stove and hotplates, fridge/freezer and a chest freezer. Use the free BBQ's and dine outdoors.
