Fiordland Great Views Holiday Park is a convenient starting point for trips to Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, Te Anau Glow-worm Caves and just a 10 minute walk from the town centre's many shops and attractions. If you don't feel like walking take a ride in the London Taxi. The elevated site standing over the Te Anau township provides panoramic views of Lake Te Anau, the surrounding mountains of Fiordland National Park and of the nearby Manapouri mountain ranges.
The holiday park features many types of accommodation from fully self-contained studio and three bedroom units to deluxe cabins and campsites. Guests are also welcome to use the luxury spa room, fitness centre and children's playground. A modern kitchen and dining room are on site, along with a patio area with free gas BBQs. There is also a retail store for basic groceries and other essentials.
Activities within walking distance include the Upukerora River, a 250-metre walk for swimming, fishing and kayaking. A short five minute walk will take you to an observation point and you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of Lake Te Anau (New Zealand's second largest lake). Nearby Patience Bay is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to experience the edge of this truly unspoilt wilderness region.
