Te Whau Lodge

Perched above Putiki Bay, an hour from Auckland, is the private retreat of Te Whau Lodge. Owners Liz and Gene are on hand to host your stay and ensure an enjoyable time.

The architecturally deisgned lodge blends into the clifftop, affording breathtaking views over Waitemata Harbour to Auckland and the hills beyond. Te Whau is set on 6ha, allowing expansive decks, an outdoor hot-tub, and sweeping water views for each of the four guest quarters.

Host Gene is passionate about cooking, and creates a daily menu that takes advantage of local and seasonal produce. Gourmet breakfast, pre-dinner canapes and wine are included in the price of accommodation.
