When Blanket Bay opened in December 1999, it commenced a new chapter in the history of luxury New Zealand Lodges. Located at the northern point of Lake Wakatipu, the lodge is built in the majestic style of the finest alpine lodges.

Accommodation is delivered in 4 intimate lakeside rooms and 3 sumptuous lodge suites. Two chalets offer 4 additional luxury suites and staterooms.

The lodge offer a number of health and fitness options. Relax with their on call masseuse, burn off some calories in the Bay Gym then unwind in the steam rooms or the Jacuzzi.
