The Te Anau and Fiordland region are promoted as the "walking and sight-seeing capital of the world". Fiordland Guides Ltd specialise in arranging guided walks and hiking excursions to suit client requirements, from easy walks to more demanding hikes for a number of days.

A wide choice of scheduled trips are available from daily half day walks to interesting local areas, some rich in local history, to multi-day hikes into the remoter regions of Fiordland. In this region alone, there are over 500km of walking tracks with some of the most spectacular scenery to be found anywhere.

Guided fly fishing, hunting, nature walks, bird watching, illustrated slide lectures and accommodation are also offered.
