Arataki Honey Ltd (Hawkes Bay Division)

The Arataki Honey visitors and Education Centre is located in the beautiful rural Havelock North Wine Country.

The centre is a bright, new, innovative self-paced learning experience, which is great for children of any age, as well as those big kids! The centre provides guests with hands on activities for everyone - look, smell, feel, watch and taste the different aspects of the bee world from the flowers through to the finished product.

Visitors get to see thousands of bees and see what they get up to in the hive boxes. The team is always in the centre to help guests spot the Queen in a hive, and explainin the different stages in the life of a bee or to answer that question about honey that you've always wanted to know.
