Eastwoodhill Arboretum is situated only a 30-minute drive away from Gisborne, covering over 100 hectares of hills, valleys and ponds. Eastwoodhill is New Zealand's largest and finest collection of exotic trees and shrubs, with over 4000 taxa featured from around the world, some unique to New Zealand.

Eastwoodhill has a variety of 6 walking tracks throughout the arboretum, which cater for a range of fitness levels. The Arboretum offers a wide range of activities including guided walks, 4 wheel drive tours, budget accommodation, function venue, team building, conference facilities, catering options and souvenirs.
