The coastal clifftop and rolling inland golf courses of New Zealand provide a challenge or a fun round for all skill levels. Tours can be premium hosted, group or self drive, and take in NZ's best golfing locations and courses.
First Light Travel can tailor a tour package to suit your group (entailing golf and other sports), or you could join the extensive 21 day Golf Adventure Tour. This tour also includes other non-golf activities.
The Golf Adventure Tour begins in the north and heads south through a range of landscapes and climates. Days one to three are based around Auckland, featuring clifftop fairways and rolling farmland. Four to six sees the Bay of Islands, and non-golf activities in the subtropical paradise.
On days seven to nine, enjoy Rotorua's course hazards like steam vents and geyser craters. Skydive by Lake Taupo on day ten, then head to Wellington for days 11, 12 and 13. Visit Christchurch on days 14, 15 and 16, where courses are among spring fed lakes and fields. Day 17 is spent playing below giant Mt Cook and travelling on to Lake Wanaka. The final days are spent in the Queenstown area, where alpine backdrops make it beautiful at any time of the year, and a great place to wind up the tour.
