LeBons Bay Walkway

A walking track from Akaroa to LeBons Bay returning a different route. Beginning behind Akaroa walk to the summit, then traverses the crater rim and the beautiful unspoilt scenery of the most eastern ridge of Banks Peninsula.

Walking through snow tussock, rocky ridges, native bush and sheep farmland, take in the panoramic views of Akaroa Harbour with an overnight stay at LeBons Bay Holiday Park in a sheltered valley beside a stream. Return route is via the LeBons and Takamatua valleys, past a winery.
