Built by Charles Bailey Jr in 1903, the "Oyster" is a 36ft Gaff Yawl with tan sails and can carry up to six people for a full or half day, or a romantic evening cruise. While sailing out on the harbour you have the opportunity to sail her yourself, or just sit back and watch the many dolphins, sea birds and other marine wildlife. If on a full day sailing, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the islands or the surrounding bays as you enjoy a picnic lunch break.

"Oyster" is the oldest charter boat in the South Island, and always turns heads from the boating community. So come and run away to sea for the day.

Getting There: The Oyster is moored in the Lyttleton Port Marina to the south of No. 7 Jetty. If driving from Christchurch, drive through the roundabout, turn left onto Godley Quay and then left again to get to the marina parking area. Ample parking is available. Lyttelton is easily accessible via bus and taxi services.
