Mt Bruce Pioneer Museum covers early New Zealand farming, with an extensive display of carefully restored old farm equipment. This is a private collection, accumulated over 32 years.
The Pioneer Museum's vast collection includes: garage equipement, early petrol pumps, farm machinery, sewing machines, motor chainsaws, chemist items, cameras, gramophones, washing machines, water wheel and much more. See telephones, televisions and radios from years gone by.
Learn about the past with this fascinating collection of historic gadgets; school groups and tour groups are made most welcome. Mt Bruce Pioneer Museum can be found on State Highway 2, 18kms north of Masterton and 10 kms south of the wild life centre.
