Experience the thrill of soaring with the birds, over the coast and hills. Paragliding New Zealand's experienced pilots control the wing while you experience the thrill as you fly the thermals.

Once will not be enough after this exhilarating thrill, so train towards a learner's rating (PG1 license). Under the close supervision of an instructor, this course introduces you to the finer skills of flying in preparation for flying solo and will give you a good understanding of what paragliding is all about. Within hours you will be able to launch a glider confidently in different conditions from the training hill.

Providing Paragliding services since 1990, Paragliding New Zealand offers tandem flights from Christchurch, Akaroa and Nelson. Operating seven days a week, weather permitting.
