Get off the beaten track in style! CAT Tours operates scenic tours around Wellington aboard our 4WD Mercedes Benz Unimog.

The vehicle was previously owned by Three Foot Six Ltd (Peter Jackson's film company) and was used for the filming of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy. The unimog has been modified so you can explore Wellington's wild surrounds in comfort, with air conditioning, comfortable seats, a fantastic sound system, onboard computer and flat screen monitor, and big windows for optimum viewing.

CAT Tours carry up to 18 passengers - specialising in scenic tours to Wellington's spectacular wilderness areas; we offer three coastal routes and Lord of the Rings Tours.
