Dune Rider

This is the first vehicle of its kind in New Zealand, it's a boat, it's a bus, it's both - and in it Paihia Duck Tours provide unique land and sea tours of the Bay of Islands. Ride high on the land and in the water and see the Bay of Islands as it's never been seen before in a single tour.

Enjoy a 1½ hour fun, scenic, historic and cultural tour with full commentary aboard the Paihia Duck. This state-of-the-art amphibian will pick people up curb-side and go in and out of the water using any boat launch ramp. It is capable of normal highway speeds on land, and around 6 knots on the water.

Built for the comfort and safety of our passengers, Paihia Duck seats up to 34 passengers, has a PA system, roll down windows and will accommodate any weather.
