Go sailing in New Zealand's island paradise, the Bay of Islands on Mike and Debbie's 65ft maxi yacht, Gungha II. The yacht sets sail daily from Paihia, Russell and Kerikeri for a full day visiting islands, watching the wildlife and snorkelling.
The Gungha II spends October through May sailing in the Bay of Islands, heading to Fiji, Tonga and other South Pacific islands for the rest of the year. While in New Zealand, she departs Russell at 9:30am daily, also Kerikeri and Paihia along the way, returning at 4:30pm.
The trip incorporates sailing, sightseeing and getting wet. Passengers have the opportunity to take the wheel of this safe and speedy ship, under the direction of either Mike or Debbie. Both have over 15 years experience sailing open waters of the Pacific, and are keen to pass on their passion to others. The cruise stops at selected islands with great walking tracks, where you can take some photos of the views. Go snorkelling at protected bays and watch dolphins play by the boat.
