New Zealand has long been known as a premier dive destination throughout the world; come and discover why, with a First Light Travel scuba dive tour package. The team will arrange a trip to your specifications; transport, accommodation, destinations and more.

Dive experiences in pristine NZ are diverse and all spectacular, with 15,000km of coastline, there are opportunities to dive wrecks both old and new (Greenpeace's Rainbow Warrior was sunk in the Cavalli Islands), around the active volcano White Island, or swim with seals among the kelp beds of Kaikoura. Subtropical coral reefs teem with fish, or the courageous can dive with sharks like makos and great whites.

Freshwater diving: South island fiords consist of a thin top layer of fresh water, which reduces the sunlight that reaches the lake of salt water. In the salt water, at depths of between five and 20 metres, divers will find species normally seen at depths of 50-200m. For something different, try a river drift dive; travel on the river current at 8-10 knots for 2.5km, zooming by huge boulders and schools of trout. Cave diving with an experienced guide mixes diving with out of water cave exploring.
