Lindauer Cellars is located at the Montana Gisborne Winery in Hawkes Bay. Gisborne's winemaking history dates back to the 1800s when Father Lampila first planted grapes and made wine in the region.
Lindauer Cellars offers visitors the oppurtunity to explore its museum and provides guests with an insight in to the history of wine making in the region, and also taste some of the fine wines produced in the Winery. The museum is housed in a former cuve room, and provides an authentic feeling of being underground in the champagne caves of France with its up lighting in a dark and cavernous setting.
