Broken River provides superb affordable alpine adventure and is renowned for getting some of New Zealand's most consistent natural snowfalls. Offering skiers and snowboarders an alternative experience of back to basics fun in the snow.

Situated 1.5 hours drive from Christchurch, Broken River's terrain is a series of rolling bowls with awesome runs and untracked back basins to challenge all levels of snowboarders and skiers.

There is bunk style accommodation provided in centrally heated lodges located five minutes walk from the lifts, set in beautiful native forest with awesome views over the valley below.
