Wild Flower Walks take you to some of the most remote and breathtaking mountain summits in Central Otago, to show you the delights of wild native alpine flora, unique to New Zealand.
On show are a combination of native and introduced species. Native plants can be easily recognised from introduced plants, because the majority of New Zealand plants are white flowering, yellow or occasionally pale blue.
Safari Excursions runs operate from late spring through to late autumn, (and even in winter), offering half-day / day guided tours and walks, where you will encounter numerous flowers, lichen, insects and the bird life.
