Southern English Schools

Located in the centre of Christchurch, Southern English School established in 1993 provides programs to help students achieve their goals and feel confident using English in their daily lives. Courses provided consist of Progressive English (PE), which assists language development, English For Communication (EFC) which helps with active use of English, full-time IELTS, Cambridge First Certificate, and part-time TOEIC courses. Students may join general English classes on any Monday and stay for as long as they wish.

Support is given to Students through a system of mentors, regular reports on progress, free advice on options for further study and a free lecture program, which includes valuable advice about life in New Zealand. Activities are also organised weekly, together with day trips every weekend and a full weekend excursion once a month.
