Takapu Charters

Takapu Charters offer three charter tour options: Summer cruising, Tropical winter cruising and Waitemata Harbour, aboard the Takapu2 a 28.6m luxury expedition-style vessel designed and built in 1980 for the Royal New Zealand Navy. Purchased by its current owners, your hosts Bill Leckie and Mandy Vernon, in 2000, Takapu2 has been completely refurbished for luxury charters.

With luxury accommodations, separate and private en suite bathrooms, elegant and spacious dining and entertainment saloons, a fully-equipped galley and fully-stocked bar, covered rear deck plus a sun-lovers' upper deck, and a large swim platform - you are sure to soon relax and forget your stresses.
