The oldest homestead in the Mackenzie, Opawa Homestead set on 16 acres, offers bed & breakfast/farmstays for couples or groups. All four queen size rooms have their own private bathrooms with views of the established gardens, flowing ponds and the Southern Alps and Aoraki (Mt Cook). Opawa Homestead is somewhere different to be enjoyed by all.
A great venue for special functions or weddings, packaged to meet your every need - accommodation, catering and special activities.

- Hold your wedding ceremony in our romantic garden surroundings. Opawa Homestead can arrange caterers, bands, photographers, marriage celebrants, a priest, and a wedding decorater and floral arranger. Hair and beauty specialists with wedding experience can also attend to the bridal party's needs. For parties of 15-20 the small chapel would be ideal and marquees can be hired along with furniture.
