The Petone Settlers Museum is an architectural gem commemorating the first organised European settler landings in New Zealand, the museum focuses on migration and settlement into the Wellington and Hutt Valley region.
Petone settlers museum also identifies cultural diversity as a result of migration and settlement. 5 minutes walk from Petone's historic Jackson Street cafes and shops.
Open Tuesday to Friday: 12-4, weekends and public holidays: 1-5. Schools and groups welcome by appointment. Admission free, donations welcomed. Free parking is available.
