Warbird Dakota Society

The New Zealand Warbirds Dakota DC-3 provides the ideal way to see Auckland, its harbour and environs from the air. Owned and operated by professional pilots, the Warbird Dakota is a familiar sight over Auckland, offering sightseeing scenic flights as well as charters around Auckland and New Zealand wide.

The Dakota operates 30 minute scenic flights from Ardmore airfield - the home of the NZ Warbirds Association, day or overnight trips around the North Island and is also available for charter throughout the country as well as for group or corporate flights.

Every flight is accompanied by a qualified flight attendant and has comfortable airliner seating for up to 30 passengers. Due to its lower cruising altitude the Dakota provides spectacular views of the countryside.
