National Park Backpackers

National Park Backpackers caters for the needs of every traveller passing through.

The establishment has numerous facilities available including tours, accommodation and the Indoor Climbing Hall, which is 8 meters high and involves 35 top ropes and 55 different climbs in grades 10 - 27.

The hall is open daily from 9 am to 8 pm and costs $12 for adults (includes harness, carabineer and instruction).

There is accommodation built around the climbing hall, complete with a spa pool to relax, transport to Tongariro Crossing, 42nd Traverse, the ski area, and Whanganui River trips.
