The New Zealand Cricket Museum is based in the Old Grandstand at the Basin Reserve and is New Zealand's premier sporting museum. It houses a wealth of cricket treasures and memorabilia.
Displays and exhibitions include the oldest bat you're ever likely to see, through to great new displays of New Zealand cricket history. See displays on the Origins of the Game and New Zealand cricket greats such as Bert Sutcliffe, Martin Donnelly, Richard Hadlee and Martin Crowe. Also, interactive displays showcasing the unfolding chronological history of New Zealand cricket.
The New Zealand Cricket Museum is open throughout summer (01 November - 30 April -10.30am -3.30pm), and on weekends or by arrangement in winter, be sure to include the New Zealand Cricket Museum in any visit to Wellington.
