Culture North offers a variety of Maori cultural experiences and guided tours of the Bay of Islands including entry to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.

Visitors get the opportunity to experience Maori as a living, vibrant culture. Visiting a marae and experiencing a traditional welcome, also gaining a cultural interpretation of the Treaty of Waitangi, the founding document of New Zealand.

The highlight is the Waitangi Sound and Light show, a performance combining stunning Maori culture, vibrant live drama, sound and lights to tell the story of the coming of Kupe, the first Maori to discover New Zealand, through to the present day.
