'Tuatara' is a unique store and gallery space that aims to have the most diverse and eclectic selection of the most beautiful things in New Zealand, especially those that reflect Aotearoa and the Pacific. Focusing predominantly on high quality work the shop is filled with a mix of clothing, jewellery, artwork, giftware and homewares.

Traditional taonga (Maori treasures) sit alongside the best of contemporary NZ art and design as well as a handpicked selection of kiwiana kitsch and classic souvenirs.

The gallery space opens on to a courtyard and is especially supportive of contemporary Maori artists. Various exhibitions in the gallery are held throughout the year, reflecting the work of many local artists.
