The Kaikoura Coast Track

Uncrowded walking, beautiful coastline and friendly farm hospitality for three memorable days and nights. The Kaikoura Coast Track climbs from the sea to a height of 600m (1970 feet) and takes you through the unspoilt beauty of the Kaikoura Coast, with magnificent views of mountains, sea and remote farmland. Guided walks can be arranged, however the track is well signposted and your guide book is informative.

To ensure preservation and minimise impact on the environment, track use is limited to ten walkers and eight mountain bikers each day. Your luggage is transported to your overnight stay, so you can comfortably walk with a daypack. Each section of the track has a day hut with a supply of fresh drinking water and overnight accommodation is provided in hosted farm stays with full facilities and fresh farm products.
