Woodlands Historic Homestead and Gardens

Woodlands Historic Homestead and Gardens features a large colonial dwelling constructed in 1872 as a manager's residence for a 98,000-acre estate. It has been lovingly restored to its original grace and charm and is surrounded today by 15 acres of gardens.

The estate highlights the radical transformation of the low-lying Waikato landscape after the third New Zealand (or Waikato) War.

The peaceful setting is ideal for conferences & meetings and is one of the Waikato Region's most popular wedding venues.

Woodlands is open daily throughout summer 10-4pm.
