Surrounded by stunning vistas of Mount Cook and Lake Pukaki, the Braemar Station GolfCross Club is situated on a 62,000 acre High Country Station, farming deer, sheep, and cattle. It offers a challenging 18 goal GolfCross course stretched out over undulating high country tussock land, where not a cubic inch of soil has been moved.
GolfCross is golf with goals instead of holes and it's played with an oval ball instead of a round one. Using the same rules as golf (with a few exceptions and additions) and the same clubs, essentially you are still playing golf, except that the target is now suspended in mid-air and every shot is pretty much going where you want it to.
GolfCross is an exciting way to play golf as it encourages risk taking, and players love exploring the amazing flight properties of the world's first oval golf ball.
