The Station Bush GolfCross course is situated on a beautiful parklike working farm in the heart of the Martinborough wine district. It offers an exciting nine goal GolfCross course laid out over an undulating river valley with many stands of mature native trees.
GolfCross, goal-golf or goalf is golf with goals instead of holes and it's played with an oval ball instead of a round one. You use the same rules as golf (with a few exceptions and additions) and the same clubs - though you won't need your putter. Essentially you're still playing golf, it's simply that the target is now suspended in mid-air and the oval GolfCross ball is actually more aerodynamically stable than the round one you know so well every shot is pretty much going where you want it to!
At present the only GolfCross courses are in New Zealand, but with the low rate of the NZ dollar, a NZ golfing holiday is a bargain. GolfCross is a thrilling way to play golf as it encourages risk taking, and players love exploring the amazing flight properties of the world's first oval golf ball.
