Situated in the Waioeka Gorge Scenic Reserve, Wairata Station is a vast mountainous wilderness within easy reach of Auckland.
The station runs over 400 head of Angus cattle and 1500 Perendale sheep, and has numerous farm & forest trails ranging from an easy flat gradient to a decent uphill trek.
Wairata Station offers a choice of chalet and cottage accommodation, perfect for a quiet weekend getaway or serene retreat for a few days fishing, tramping or hunting.
