Founded in 1881, Christchurch Boys' High School is a Year 9-13 state secondary school for boys. As well as a modern Library and School Hall complex, there is a wide range of specialised laboratories, art studios, a music suite, technical workshops, and four computer suites. The school has a weights training centre, two gymnasiums and an all-weather training pitch.
