Luxmore Jet

Luxmore Jet operates jet boat tours on the Upper Waiau River, which flows between Lake Te Anau and Lake Manapouri. A great way to explore the untouched wilderness of Fiordland National Park, a World Heritage listed area. A ten minute drive out of Manapouri will bring you to Queens Reach on the Upper Waiau River, the launch site.

Luxmore Jet also offers three different 'Fly and Boat' options in addition to 'Wings and Water'. The Kepler Mountains fly and boat includes a 30 minute jet boat ride to the stunning Lake Manapouri where a floatplane will pick you up for a 12 minute scenic flight back to Lake Te Anau.

Flowing from Lake Te Anau to Lake Manapouri, the Upper Waiau River was used to portray parts of the majestic River Anduin. Luxmore Jet stops to let you admire and photograph actual locations from the first of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
