Waihau Bay Charters offer superb fishing from a new licensed charter boat. Big game fishing for Marlin, Tuna, mahimahi and the mighty yellowtail Kingfish which can attain weights of up to 100lbs, or bottom and strayline fishing for snapper, terakihi, kawahai, harpuka and also of course the kingfish.

The operators also provide a number of activities including diving trips, accommodation and kayak hire.

Superb land based fishing is available on your doorstep and there is a choice of cast or rock fishing. Because of the close proximity to the continental shelf, clients travel from all over the world and within New Zealand for the superb fishing of this area.
