Punakaiki Horse Treks offer refreshing horse treks in a natural and safe environment, suited to novice and experienced riders. Ride through the lush Paparoa National Park, along the Punakaiki river, crossing it and up into the Punakaiki valley. Gaze up at 300ft high limestone cliffs, listen to the abundant birdlife, and breathe in the fresh ocean air as we ride along the beach through the West Coast surf to the foot of the magnificent Pancake Rocks.

Punakaiki Horse Treks guides place emphasis on rider safety and service and will ensure you and your horse get well acquainted in order to make the ride more enjoyable for both of you. The horses are well mannered and of New Zealand station-breds and warm blood standard breed, known for their quiet temperament.
