They are an agent for Tranzrail, Interislander and Intercity, are open 7 days a week and also have a café and gift shop on site.

Located just 5km from the city centre and on the road to the popular Tutukaka Coast is the Whangarei Falls, cascading 26m into a bush fringed pool and often referred to as the most photogenic waterfall in NZ Visit the summit of Mt Parihaka, the highest point in the city. It was once the site of the largest Maori pa (fortified village) in New Zealand. The excavations are still visible and interpretation of the area is provided at the site, which can be accessed by a pleasant walk through native forest from the summit.
