Covering thirty hectares of land and a rich and diverse living plant encyclopaedia, Christchurch Botanic Gardens is well known for its magnificent collection of specimen trees.
If visiting for the first time or everyday, the gardens ever changing plant collections always offer a different perspective and attraction to suit. From the formal planting of the bedding displays and herbaceous boarder, to the native collections meandering pathways, or the tropical conservatory complex, the gardens are beautiful and well maintained.
