Gibbston Valley Wines was founded in 1987 as the first commercial wine producer in the Central Otago region. Now it is New Zealand's leading food and wine experience incorporating award-winning winery, fabulous winery restaurant, educational tours and tastings and an outstanding conference and wedding venue.
Guided tours through the vineyard and wine cave give visitors the unique opportunity to learn about the history of this unique region, and to taste a selection of the finest wines that the wine cave provides. Wine tasting every hour from 10am to 4pm.
The restaurant is known as one of the one of the most satisfying dining experiences in the area. Mark Sage, the executive chef for over a decade, focuses on fresh local produce with a Mediterranean flair to create an exquisite menu that is designed to perfectly complement the great Central Otago wines.
